Bob’s Pirate Plunder

let a salty sea dog help you spend your money

The Beginning of a Legend

ARG!

As strange as it my seem, Bob the Pirate was born from a name on a computer login screen.  Some little smart-ass had rigged all the computers in my High School library to auto-fill the username as “Bob”.

I thought “Bob the Pirate” was even better.

Either way, thanks to creative writing class, Bob the Pirate was first written into action in his first short story Bob the Pirate Shops at the Gap.  It was printed in ROAR: 2006 as well as Anthology of Short Stories.  Bob cameoed in my college essay (and I was accepted, bish!).  Bob the Pirate eats at Ruby Tuesday and Bob the Pirate Meets the In-Laws are in unfinished states.

Although Bob hasn’t made any new appearances, I still felt the need to revive him blog-style.  I’ll be using George Choundas’s Pirate Primer (buy it, you need it) to enhance his pirate jargon.  The mission of this blog is a bit of a mystery to me so far… where is Bob headed now?  We’ll see soon enough.
